A Love Letter to My Juicer š
Hi, Friend! š
Yesterday this poem started coming to me as I made some juice. With Valentine's Day here the theme of love was on my mind, and since it kept flowing I composed this friendly love letter to my juicer, whom I call Big Bertha. Bertha's stocky but strong; reliable, loyal, powerful and a hard worker. I aspire to exhibit her positive qualities. š¤£ I hope and pray you enjoy the poem. š
A love note to Big Bertha
I love you, Big Bertha
Sturdy and strong
Always there for me
No matter how long
I let you get dusty
But if you trust me
Iāll clean you up
As you fill me up
My diet, my life
You canāt be my wife
Iām female too
I also have life
Trust in Godās timing
Now got me rhyming
Lovers on the way
Theyāll be here to stay
A juicer, itās true
Heāll love you for you
Maybe Tall Todd
You wonāt think he's odd
My mate, biding time,
As I bust out this rhyme
Thereās lots I've to do
As I watch for that shoe
Cinderella, my turn
Yes, though I do yearn
Must work on my book
Prepare for our nook
Some falsely wish
Yet only one fish
Is swimming this way
He's chosen, far away
God whispers him in quiet
I cry help with this diet
In fullness of time
We'll finish this climb
Friends we be first
No, itās not the worst
Pastor Erwin knows best
Weāll both pass the test
Enjoying the ride
Walking side by side
Fixed upon heaven
Lest there be leaven
Could be wrong
But faith sings a song
No need for shame
I've got a new name
Isaiah didnāt waver
My Husband is Maker
Just blessed to be alive
Darling, come quickly
Else I'll feel sickly
Yet wait, not quite yet
Thereās no need to fret
Good things take time
Iām not here to whine
Some tasks to be done
Hard work and great fun
God comes first
No, I'm not cursed
You might think Iām bland
But I think Heās grand
Haven't been this way
Jesus having his way
From glory to glory
Iām telling our story
Love so divine
He makes us shine
Dying on the cross
Removing the dross
Sin makes us sick
He cut to the quick
But inviting Him in
We get a big win
Heaven my home
Iām a roaming gnome
Everyone come with us
Say Jesus, I want thus
Open the door
Of this Iām sure
He'll enter within
And take away sin
Make you whole
Body, mind, soul
Rather die than live
Snatch you from the sieve
Into the abyss
Some will go
The Way you canāt miss
You probably know
Love so sweet
Will wait to meet
My Husband, my Maker
Iām a grateful partaker
So fill my cup
As we rise up
In need of good health
Veggies are wealth
Hear me, Big Bertha
You're surely worth a
Reward for your grind
You help keep my mind
With me to the end
We peer round the bend
This day has a number
Let's not long slumber
āFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
Happy Valentineās Day, Friend!
With His love,
Bailey š
